Katoomba Hospital’s mental health unit is operating at full capacity again, four weeks after the Gazette revealed five of its 15 beds were closed due to a staff shortage.A Sydney West Area Health Service (SWAHS) spokesperson confirmed on Monday that a new doctor had started work in the hospital’s mental health unit.........“If community advocates don’t keep the spotlight on — and I’m regularly attacked for keeping the spotlight on — these things just hang for a long, long time,”.......READ MORE
